There is an accuser called Satan that uses your short comings against you. He accuses you day and night that is the reason why the mercies of God are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23. It is the mercy of God that cancels the accusations of the devil. You don't beg for mercy, you obtain mercy by faith. Hebrews 4:16. By the mercy of God every accusation against you, true or false is nullified in Jesus name.
